Our mission at Home Care Assistance is to change the way the world ages. We do that by developing innovative programs, awareness campaigns and educational resources that promote healthy longevity for seniors and advance our mission. Our Balanced Care Method™ approach to aging, based on the scientifically studied lifestyle choices of the longest—and healthiest—living population on Earth, emphasizes healthy nutrition, physical and mental exercise, and a purposeful and calm lifestyle. Moreover, it helps promote optimal quality of life and contributes to longer, happier and more productive lives for older adults. I am very proud to be part of the only home care solution that emphasizes active caregiving and improved lives. We also are the only company in Arizona that specializes in live-in care, which allows older adults to remain forever at home. We opened our business with a goal of setting a higher standard of excellence in home care for older adults. We strive to be a company that listens to the desire of our clients and responds to the needs of their families as well.


Clarissa Alvarez - General Manager

Clarissa Alvarez – General Manager

I am an Arizona native with extensive business experience, including several years of experience working in the medical field and getting to know the southern Arizona medical community. I volunteer my free time with a chronic illness and chronic pain educational and advocacy group. I am passionate about ensuring we provide the highest quality of care to our clients and am very proud of our outstanding caregivers. I come from a family of caregivers who showed me what it was to really take care of someone in a way that makes them better and still emphasizes their own level of independence. This included a time in my life where I fell ill and needed care. I feel like I have been given the unique opportunity to see things from the side of the caregivers and professionals but also from the perspective of someone who needed care. I keep that in mind while doing everything possible to ensure that our caregivers are the best and are providing excellent care for those who find themselves needing them.


Marilynn Ahumada - Office Manager

Marilynn Ahumada – Office Manager:

I am originally from Rio Rico, Arizona; a small community with a strong sense of family-values, good work-ethic and unity. I believe these values are what brought me into the home care industry. Before joining the Home Care Assistance team I worked in the home care field in a Client Care Management role which gave me a great opportunity to learn more about the needs of the people in our community. I truly enjoy my work because I know I am helping people. I have also developed a true sense of respect for the caregiver profession. My on-going goal at Home Care Assistance is to maintain a team of proactive and professional caregivers. It’s important to me that I help them achieve a sense of purpose and fulfillment in their work so that they provide the best care possible for the members of our community.


Nicole Davis – Director Employee Care

Nicole Davis – Director Employee Care

I was born and raised in California and now call Arizona my home. I graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Psychology and pursued a career in business, leveraging my education to focus on my passion, which is helping people realize their full potential through various career development, office management and human resources roles. I ran my own successful small business for several years, where I built a great team who were inspired to do their best every day.

I am excited to help our clients battle dementia through the Cognitive Therapeutics Method, by training our caregivers on how to use our exclusive set of one-on-one programs to keep our clients mentally sharp.

At Home Care Assistance we provide trained caregivers who truly care about the uniqueness of your family’s needs. Service is available in a loved one’s home, a family member’s home, or in an independent or assisted living environment.

I look forward to working alongside our care givers to ensure you or your loved one receives the best quality care.


 Delores Brindle, B.S., R.N.

Delores Brindle – B.S., R.N.

I have been a nurse for over 45 years. I started out as a Licensed Practical Nurse then received my Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education, next was my Registered Nurse degree, and a Certificate in Gerontology.
I have a passion for training and quality care. I held the following positions: Director of Nurses, In-service Educator, Nurse Consultant and Quality Assurance nurse. The last 10 years I worked for educational institutions instructing nursing assistants. I spent the 10 years as the Director of Nurses overseeing the Licensed Nurse educators and held the position of Director of Education. I wrote and co-authored caregiver training manuals. I will be actively working with our Home Care Assistance caregiving team to share my experience and develop on-going programs to hone their skills and ensure we provide the highest quality care.
